Love
Genesis 1:1 says, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”
Ephesians 1:4 says, “he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him.”
This means, when God created the heavens, you were on his mind. Let’s just think about this for a second... The God of the universe, The King of everything, thought of you before he even created the world. You were on his mind, he was thinking of you. The great mystery of God, is that he knew us before we were even alive. Before you knew him, he knew you. And even greater still, he loved you. He loved you so much that he sent his Son to die for you (John 3:16), so that you could live a life as “holy and blameless before him” (Ephesians 1:4).
God so loves you. He can’t do anything but love you! God is constantly pursuing you. He wants nothing less than all of you, because he knows life with him is so much better than what the world can offer. What an awesome God we serve...
Chosen
“For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will.” Ephesians 1v4-5 (NIV)
Before one star was placed in the sky, one electron or single cell came into existence God had your name in his heart, he thought of you. God has had our great destiny planned out since before time began, a plan that is incomplete without us and can only be accomplished through and in Jesus Christ. Knowing all you were to do, think, achieve and fail in, with an ever pursing, ever faithful, never ending love God chose you to be his son or daughter. His delight was to make you part of his family and to be your father. If you allow this truth to break into your hearts it will set you free into the great things that God has for you, the increase in which God wants to see you move into. It will release you into all God has for you, all you have dreamed to be in him, and all (in those daring moments) you have secretly hope God will use you to do.
Increase
“ Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end” Is 9:7 (ESV)
As a result of hope in our lives( hope in a living God that is) we will see increase. In Genesis 1:22 God says to ' be fruitful and multiply'. Gods desire for us is not just to increase in number but also in anointing and in our relationship with him. As God becomes more and more the object of our focus we will see a supernatural increase in all areas of our life. Why? Because God is the God of more then enough. We will never get to a point where we have all that God has to offer us, nor will we ever be able to understand how vast he is- there is always more in God, his supply never runs dry. Isaiah 40:31 says ' but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles'. Amen! That speaks of godly increase. Eagles are not like other birds who fly parallel to the ground. Eagles soar from one height to the next, they continually fly higher and higher. In the same way we are meant to go higher and higher in to what God has for us. So seek God, desire more, and never let yourself be satisfied.
